KCG Corporation, the manufacturer and distributor of products under the Imperial and the Allowrie brands and the importer of international ready-to-eat foods, participated the THAIFEX – World of Food Asia 2019, which was a big and important annual fair, from May 28 to June 1 at IMPACT Exhibition Center, Hall 6-L01. This year, KCG Corporation displayed different types of products such as biscuits and bakery ingredients distributed under the Imperial brand, and products distributed under the Allowrie brand which is the front-runner of Thai butter and cheese manufacturer. Similarly, amongst products showcased were a bunch of products imported by the Company, such as fine cheese and cold cuts, bakery ingredient products, western food ingredient, frozen food, yogurt and ice cream, etc.. Different activities were arranged throughout the fair to share products and western foods knowledge and techniques. Demonstrates special menus by Aum Napat – food influencer, Dr. Tum – Master Chef Thailand Season 2, with various product of KCG Corporation, etc.
The booth was divided into 4 zones according to brands and products. The first zone displayed the Imperial dairy products and the Imperial Shredded Cheese, which includes 4 types of cheeses, namely cheddar cheese, gouda cheese, emmental cheese, and gruyere cheese, are combined to offer a wide range of flavors. Also, Imperial Cheddar Cheese Spreadable, offered in a 10-gram cup, was showcased to provide an easy and convenient cheese consumption suitable for all ages and places.
The Imperial pastry ingredient products offer easy bakery cooking for everyone through Imperial Easy Mix flours. The product enables you to complete an easy cooking with just 3 steps to ensure delicious treats. Also, sample of all 5 flavors including cookie, banana cake, chocolate cake, fudge brownie, and butter cake were presented at the booth.
The long well-known Imperial biscuits product, Imperial Danish Style Butter Cookies or known amongst local Thais as the red box cookie, joined the exhibition. Furthermore, it has been rebranded to become Imperial Mini Cookies Danish Style with the slogan “4 Shapes & 4 Styles …Delicious, Chewy, Bite-size Cookie”, aimed to penetrate the new generation market. It features trendy brand image and is available in both original and new flavors choco-malt. This newly-launched flavor reinforces the status of Imperials as the pioneering Danish style cookies manufacturer in Thailand and the leader in the Biscuits – Plain Cookies Segment.1
The next zone boasted Allowrie, Thailand’s bestselling butter and cheese in the market. In this year, aside from a slew of butter and cheese products, KCG Corporation launched the first official distribution of Allowrie Truffle Butter, or truffle butter, which presents the rich flavor of exclusive ingredient, Italian Truffle, with pure butter to enhance your western dishes.

At the last zone, the imported products such as Cheese & Cold cuts; the fine food products were offered to guests. To begin with, one of the products was 5J cured ham from Spain, the superb treat made from the leg of black pig fed with natural acorns nuts in dehesa in the Iberian Peninsula and cured with natural sea salt from Atlantic Ocean for 36 months; this ham is world-renowned from its excellent quality.
Also displayed in this zone was Emmi cheese, Kaltbach Le Gruyère AOP – the AOP cheese from Switzerland. Made of cow milk from Gruyère, this cheese boasts the rich smooth flavor and texture of fruits and nuts from 1 year and 3 months of cheese curing process, together with over than 300 days of cure in sandstone caves. Kaltbach Le Gruyère has been granted international awards including golden and bronze medals from World Cheese Awards 2014.

Apart from various products at KCG Corporation’s booth, the Demonstration Zone was also a highlighted activity. At this section, professional chefs from international imported brands demonstrated exclusive pastry recipes and shared baking techniques.
What’s more, the true food influencer widely known in the social media, Aum Napat – the owner of Instagram account @aum_napat followed by 674,000 people, demonstrated the making of “Smoked Salmon Sandwich with Italian Pasta Salad” and shared the techniques of food presentation. The other two were Dr. Tum, Master Chef Season 2 contestant, and also the owner of the Facebook fanpage “EAT Matters: by หมอตั้ม” followed by over 73,000 people,who presented the recipe “The man in the high castle” (Durian chocolate mousse cheese cake) and miss Sai, from the social media page “Bakery Society”, who demonstrated dishes
The last session was the mocktails featuring Sunquick Concentrated Fruit Juice which premiered its new flavor “Mixed Berry” to freshen-up drinkers.
